Hello All -
Hope everyone had a great new year's and is looking forward to 2008. I've seen some postings on color contacts and decided to post some pics of color contacts I've tried to give anyone who is curious and has never tried an idea of how it looks. However, all the different colors look different on everyone depending on your hair color, features and bone structure.

I like to wear color contacts for a change. I love my brown eyes but there's nothing wrong with changing things up. I know some people think color contacts and dyed hair equals not trying to look Asian but I don't agree with that. Granted some people really do look of mixed race when they use color contacts or dye their hair but I think that's just how they look because I know I look Asian regardless and I am not trying to change that. We will wear different styles of clothing and apply our makeup differenlty from time to time so I don't have a problem with trying anything new. Whatever you choose to try out with your outer beauty is up to you - It's just about embracing your own individuality and having some fun with it.
Here's some pics of me with my natural eye and some pics using different color contacts:

True Sapphire (Freshlooks Colorblends):
edit: added larger pic for yoshi - here are some other pics with the True Sapphire. They look a little scary if you look straight into them. I heard Elegance contacts are much nicer but cost more $$.
Green (Freshlooks Colorblends):
Amethyst (Freshlooks Colorblends):
Pure Hazel (Freshlooks Colorblends):
Gray (Freshlooks Colorblends): My Least Favorite Color on Me

thank you for posting these up gives a nice idea of how contacts look. And I agree with you, it’s great to do things different for fun and express our individuality, and doing that definitely is not trying to steer away from being asian, it’s just having some fun. |

| **EDIT** Thank you so much!! Those are super super blue! They’re colourblends right? Do they really look that full on blue? I had the turquoise from them before and they weren’t as bad. Not thta this blue is bad |
| yoshi: they are very blue. i think they are the brightest of the Freshlook Colorblends. they don’t look as blue as they do in the photos though. i think the camera is just picking it up stronger. since they are colorblends there are still dark tones but it is still a very bright color. when i wore them usually for nights out most people said they did not notice i was wearing blue contacts until they saw the pictures. all they noticed was that my eye color was lighter than usual. i also tried turquoise but they didn’t really show on me but they really make my paler friends eyes pop. |

| Thank you so much for posting this!! I’ve been thinking about getting colour contacts and this really helps me get a better sense of how they look on Asian eyes.
The amethyst and the gray are the most interesting to me. I think those are colours I’d want to try on. I’d love to see closeups of those two! |
